I feel as if there is an issue which needs to be discussed. The whole system of how things are done at MCHS is a joke. Why is it that the board will make you wear stupid nametags on a piece of kite string, yet will not let you have a hacky sack or a yo-yo at school? Stevens needs to let go of the radio and try to get things runnin right. Displine is one thing, but never smiling and enforcing these rules...that is a bunch of crap. And now the more philosophical side....Imagine the world that looks like a prison. Teenage "Johnny" we'll call my hypothetical character, cannot handle the load. He has emotional problems his old and unwilling teachers well not understand. In this prison, the bars are rules and policies with no meaning or purpose. Johnny cannot socialize with his friends between classes by showing them new tricks on his yo-yo or a quick game of hacky sack, because adminstration disagrees. He also finds that he forgot to get his nametag out of his PE locker before leavint the locker room, so Mr. Stevens gives him a Saturday School. Think about this!
